A Love Letter to Myself

Dearest Heart,

I want you to know how proud I am of you.

Proud of you for choosing to pause.
For noticing when you’re rushing.
For setting the intention to come back to your mantra:

“There is enough time. There is enough love.”

You didn’t choose this because everything was easy — you chose it because something inside you asked for more care. And you listened.

I know you sometimes wish clarity looked like a clean answer or a final decision. But that’s never really been how your mind works. Your clarity comes in moments — in awareness, in noticing, in choosing differently one small moment at a time.

And you’re doing that.

You slowed down at bedtime.
You stayed present in the chaos.
You let yourself enjoy their silliness, their noise, their wild energy — instead of pushing through it just to get to the next thing.
You made space for them and for yourself.

That matters.

I want you to remember this:
You don’t have to earn rest.
You don’t have to rush to deserve quiet.
You don’t have to sacrifice yourself to be a good mother, partner, or human.

Both can exist.
Care and boundaries.
Presence and space.
Family and self.

When you reread this a month from now, I hope you see how much has already shifted — not because you forced it, but because you softened into it.

If you ever forget, come back to this truth:

You are allowed to slow down.
You are allowed to change.
You are allowed to need support.
You are allowed to take up space without apology.

I love you for your honesty.
I love you for your courage.
I love you for choosing presence over perfection.

Keep going — gently.

With love,
Your Heart
